Project Overview

Sandra wanted a one-page website that reflected luxury and harmony, with the purpose of sharing her health and nutrition services. Using neutral colors with golden details made the website look like it was worth a million dollars. I designed the website myself, starting with the hero section, where Sandra specifically had a photoshoot to create the beautiful images you can see throughout the website. I wanted the first thing the visitor sees to be Sandra's face. In this niche, it’s very important to know the face of the author because the visitor will trust you more easily if you expose yourself. It also feels more intimate and professional, showing that Sandra is there to help out her clients and really get to know them by exposing herself at the very first second.

The minimalistic navigation menu plays a super important role because the navigation needs to be simple and quick so visitors don’t get overwhelmed. As you scroll down through the website, you’ll see that the choice of colors and images really spotlights a relaxed sensation. Sandra wanted the website to be gentle and harmonic. This choice of personality shows that if you follow Sandra’s guidance, your life will become better, more relaxed, organized, and in harmony. The organization of the information Sandra wanted to be displayed plays a crucial role. It’s all inside what looks like folders or tabs, allowing the visitor to easily understand and read each topic separately. For the footer, Sandra chose a very simple design, quite an interesting choice! Just a simple line, just like the navigation menu, and that's it.

Scope of Work: Website Design and Development

Process: The technical process of building this website was very pragmatic. Sandra was in a specific situation where she needed the website done ASAP, so we opted for a back-to-back type of design and development. While designing and developing, I was always in contact with Sandra to understand what she liked and didn’t like. This type of process is always more tiring, but I’m always ready to help. I built this website in WordPress using the Elementor builder, along with a third-party app with extra sections.

Difficulties: The constant communication with Sandra to understand her preferences made the process more tiring. However, this was necessary to ensure the website met her needs and expectations.

Enjoyable Aspects: I really enjoyed the design and personality of this project. I think it’s very well organized and does a great job reflecting the harmony and luxury Sandra wanted.

Final Thoughts

Concluding, this was a very interesting project. I really enjoyed helping Sandra, and I’m proud of the final result!
